Text message (SMS) notifications

Selfie can send you account notification texts so you don’t miss activity on your own Selfie. These are transactional account messages only — we never send marketing or promotional texts, and we never text anyone other than the account owner at the phone number on their own account.

What we’ll text you

• Your daily digest — a once-a-day recap of the questions your Selfie answered (only on days with activity).
• An alert when someone wants to subscribe to or support your Selfie.
• A notification when you receive a tip or payment.

How you opt in

If you sign in with your phone number, text notifications are turned on for your account and you can manage them any time under Settings → Text notifications. Turning the toggle on is your consent to receive automated account texts from Selfie at the number on file.

How to opt out

• Turn off Text notifications in Settings, or
• Reply STOP to any text from us to unsubscribe from all messages. Reply START to opt back in.

Reply HELP to any message from us for help, or email creators@selfie.com.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using Selfie. See our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number or the contents of these messages with third parties for their marketing.

Managing your account

You can update your profile, visibility, email, monetization, and notification preferences at any time under Settings. To receive your daily digest by email instead of text, add an email address in the Daily digest card.
